Ode to Bolgatanga

Ode to Bolgatanga

Thereโ€™s something so special about traveling to the North of Ghana.

Maybe it's to see the community of weavers gathering together, sharing their traditions, and following their heritage. Showing us their reality, their home, their family, and letting us be part of it.

Maybe it's just the creative process; sharing laughs, designing spaces, and creating dreamy imagery that really talks about their stories.

Maybe it's just the food, the familiar feeling of being accepted no matter who you are.

Or perhaps it's their drinks. The Pito, a local traditional alcoholic drink made with millet through a peculiar fermentation process.

Madam Akosua makes it so well, she makes it look easy.

There are the markets, the feeling of PRIDE in their craft. The traditional sharing of skills. The slow days, the fun of learning how to ride a motor.

Maybe it's just Bolgatanga and its people with their heartwarming smiles.

Such a unique place!
